Refund Policies

At American Beginnings Consortium, Inc. (“ABC,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we understand that family-building is a major commitment, both emotionally and financially. We are committed to transparency regarding program fees, refunds, and cancellations. This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how fees are handled in different circumstances.

1. General Policy

  • All service fees are clearly outlined in your service agreement prior to enrollment.

  • Refund eligibility is determined by the specific stage of the process and the services already rendered.

  • Certain fees may be non-refundable due to administrative, legal, or medical costs already incurred.

2. Refund Scenarios

a. Withdrawal Before Matching

  • If you withdraw prior to being matched with a surrogate or donor, you may be eligible for a partial refund of program fees, less administrative costs.

b. Withdrawal After Matching, Prior to Legal Contracts

  • If you withdraw after a match has been made but before contracts are signed, a portion of your fees may be refunded, minus costs related to the matching process and coordination.

c. Withdrawal After Legal Contracts Are Signed

  • Once legal agreements are signed, fees are generally non-refundable, as significant services and commitments have been rendered.

d. Medical or Clinical Complications

  • If a medical complication prevents continuation (e.g., donor ineligibility or failed medical clearance of a surrogate), we will work with you to rematch. Refunds may not be issued, but fees may be applied toward future matches.

3. Non-Refundable Fees

The following are typically non-refundable:

  • Application and assessment fees.

  • Administrative fees for coordination and case management.

  • Fees already paid to medical, legal, or third-party professionals.

4. Cancellations by ABC

If ABC must cancel services due to unforeseen circumstances (such as legal restrictions or inability to fulfill obligations), we will provide a fair resolution, which may include a refund or credit toward future services, depending on the stage of the process.

5. How to Request a Refund

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to Info@AmericanBeginnings.life. Each request will be reviewed individually, and approved refunds will be processed within 30 business days.

6. Final Note

We encourage all intended parents to carefully review their service agreement, which will outline specific fee structures and refund terms unique to their program. Our team is always available to discuss your questions and ensure you feel supported with clarity and confidence.
